Amova runs the GoalsGetter KiwiSaver Scheme, a menu of 18 funds from Amova, Milford, Generate, Pathfinder and Salt, with fees from 0.40% to 1.51% p.a. plus $2.50 a month.
Amova Asset Management New Zealand Limited is a New Zealand fund manager established in 1994 and led by Stuart Williams. You may know it by its former name, BNZ Investment Services. Its parent company, Amova Asset Management, is one of Asia's largest asset managers, and Amova NZ partners with Goldman Sachs, NAM Europe and ARK for its international investments.
Amova also manages money for other providers. For example, it manages the NZ fixed interest portion of the MAS KiwiSaver Scheme's funds.
GoalsGetter KiwiSaver Scheme fund fees:
A flat membership fee of $2.50 a month ($30 a year) applies on top of every fund fee above. Each GoalsGetter fund fee includes a 0.20% servicing and advice fee. It goes to your financial adviser if you have one, and otherwise funds the GoalsGetter advice tool.
The GoalsGetter Amova ARK Disruptive Innovation Fund is the strongest performer in the range, returning 21.6% over one year and 25.1% a year over three years to 30 June 2026.
Amova's GoalsGetter gives you a wide menu of KiwiSaver funds from several well-known managers in one scheme, with advice built into the fee. That built-in advice cost makes it pricier than a low-cost index provider.
